Once you make an appointment for cleaning services with Stress Maid Less, we reserve that time exclusively and respectively for you. In the event that you need to cancel or change your scheduled reservation, you must provide notice to us at least 48 hours or two business days prior to your scheduled reservation time.
Notice may be communicated by sending an or by calling 412-885-4705. You will receive confirmation of your request to cancel your appointment.
Please do not communicate a need to change or cancel your scheduled appointment directly with a team member. Doing so will be considered as no notice provided. Notice to cancel or change your scheduled appointment will only be accepted by Stress Maid Less when it is communicated through email, text message, or phone call.
If notice to cancel or change a scheduled appointment is not properly communicated to Stress Maid Less, a charge of 50% of your cleaning rate will be assessed and either added to your next cleaning appointment payment or invoiced to you.
In the event that you need to reschedule, we will be happy to accommodate you by scheduling another appointment, subject to cleaning staff availability.
If we are unable to access your home upon arrival or are turned away at the door, a lockout fee for the full amount of your cleaning service appointment will be either added to your next cleaning appointment payment or invoiced to you.
The safety of our team is a priority at Stress Maid Less. When an emergency weather event occurs, Stress Maid Less leadership will issue a decision to either delay the cleaning team’s start time at your home or, if weather conditions do not improve, close the office for the day
You will be notified in a timely manner of any changes to your cleaning team’s arrival time at your home or office closure for the day.
You are never required to tip your Stress Maid Less cleaning team. However, if you would like to show your appreciation for a job well done, we ask that you do so directly with your team. Unfortunately, Stress Maid Less staff cannot accept gratuities in the form of a check or as a monetary amount added to a credit card payment.
We realize that on occasion you may need to ask your cleaning team to do more during a scheduled appointment than originally quoted. Stress Maid Less must first approve, prior to your reserved appointment, any additional work or task that our cleaning staff does not normally perform during your regular cleaning appointment.
If a Stress Maid Less cleaning team performs a task that is not approved by our office prior to your scheduled appointment and damage occurs to your home, the cleaning staff member performing that task is liable for that damage.
While cleaning, a Stress Maid Less team member is not permitted to climb higher than a two-step ladder; lift more than 20 pounds; turn water on or off; move heavy furniture, appliances, or large area rugs, or disassemble furniture. Our staff also does not clean up biohazards, blood, urine, feces, vomit, or any kind of pet waste.
We love them, and we know they are part of your family. Our team members are very pet friendly and we enjoy engaging with them while we are in your home. For liability reasons and for the safety of your pet, we ask that you secure your pet area as we enter and exit your home if there is a risk associated with your pet running outside.
Unfortunately, we cannot let your pet outside, leash or restrain them in any way, or take them in or out of their crate. Our cleaning team is only permitted to give your pet a yummy treat that is provided by you and with your written permission.
Stress Maid Less provides its cleaning staff members with the correct equipment and products to clean your home. If you require a special product for any reason and request that we use your product(s), we must first obtain the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for your product(s) prior to your scheduled appointment. The information on this sheet will inform us how to safely handle and use your product(s).
If, for any reason, your product causes damage to your home, Stress Maid Less will not be held liable. Stress Maid Less reserves the right to deny your request for use of a specific product if that product cannot be safely combined with a product or products used by the Stress Maid Less cleaning team. In addition to traditional cleaning products, Stress Maid Less offers green cleaning products for an additional fee.
